Alara Orbay studied Fashion Design in London, and graduated from LCF in 2013. Her Final Major Project was inspired by “The Whirling Dervish” also known as the “Mevlana”which was inspired by her Turkish roots.

Her love for Silk started back then, were she portrayed the movement and motion of the Dervish through her fabric, focused on the drape and created her own print to reflect the peace, love and harmony of her subject. After university she worked in Victorias Secret as a Visual Merchandiser, then moved onto Selfridges were she carried on working as a Visual Merchandiser.

Alara Orbay started showcasing her own brand in several Pop-Up Boutiques with other upcoming Designers around Notting Hill, Sloane Square, and Knightsbridge. The brand became official with the opening of her own Boutique in Vienna in 2018.

She also launches her Designs here in Istanbul at Openhaus Nisantasi.  Her Designs are for minimalist, silhouette and color loving individuals.
